Route 66 roadtrip

On July 15th, Amy and I will have been married for 10 years.  She’s been the best all these years.  I’m very lucky to have her.  About a year ago, we had a very short conversation about what we would do to celebrate this milestone in our lives.  It took us about 2 minutes to decide that a journey down the mother road was in our future.  Little did we know that the gas prices would go through the roof!  We’ve recruited some friends to journey with us; our friends Erin and Andy from D.C. will be celebrating their 7th anniversary on the 14th, and they’ve agreed to  spend nearly two weeks with us exploring the American Southwest.  The trip begins today and ends on July 11th when we fly home.  Stay tuned to the blog for the next couple of weeks.  I’m planning to post lots of images from our travels as we go.

Wedding: Ally & Nate

Ally and Nate were married June 21st at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Peoria with reception following at Weaver Ridge Country Club.  I was solo for this wedding, but I think I did alright without my better half, Amy, picking up my slack.  Here are a few of my favorites from the day.

Wedding: Tiffany & Ryan

Tiffany and Ryan were married June 14th, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church, Normal, IL with reception following at the Chateau, Bloomington, IL.

Tiffany has some great taste! The details of the day were beautiful. The shoes…

The rings.

The bride

The girls had some fun…

Ashley, the flower girl, was adorable.

The guys and their “bad ass” pose.

The heirloom, something borrowed and something blue. This pendant is good luck!

The walk to the altar.

The gorgeous couple.

The reception site.

Reception details.

The first dance as Mr. and Mrs.

Congratulations, Tiffany and Ryan! Best wishes as you begin life as husband and wife.
