The website’s back!

We’re back online! All links and galleries should be working properly now. Thanks to our webhost for working on this over the holiday weekend.

Website is still down

I’m disappointed that our website is still down. My host’s tech support is still working hard on their weather related power outage issues. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you’re new to our site, please feel free to browse our recent work here on the blog, or you can browse our client galleries at the appropriate link at the top of this page. You can communicate with us via email at photo-98@sbcglobal.net or by telephone at 309.686.2189. Hopefully this issue will be resolved very soon!

Engaged: Julie & Scott

The last time we tried to schedule Julie’s and Scott’s session we were rained out. Yesterday we were sprinkled on a bit, but we were able to complete their session, and we came away with some great images. I promised them sunny weather for their August wedding. Here are some of my favorites from the session.

Our website is down temporarily

It seems our website is down today. Our webhost is having weather related power outages, and so our website is down while they get their technical issues resolved. Hopefully we’ll be back online soon. Our client galleries are still online, so you can view those by clicking the appropriate link at the top of this blog page. We apologize for the inconvenience.  We can be contacted at photo-98@sbcglobal.net.

Photo 98 is moving?

Many of you have noticed our space for lease signs in our windows. The studio is still open, but here’s the explanation. Our lease there is up in July, and we will be letting the space go. Our tentative plans are to build our dream studio at our home in Metamora next Spring. It’s gonna be so cool. We can’t wait to reveal more information as our plans develop. In the meantime, we will be focusing solely on our wedding and location portrait work while we design the new space and save a little more dinero. Thanks to our wonderful clients for helping us make our dreams a reality. You guys are the best!

Engaged: Samantha & Steve

Samantha and Steve came all the way from the Quad Cities for their engagement session. I’m glad the weather did not disappoint. It was a gorgeous day for shooting outdoors, and we captured some great images. Here are some of my favorites.

She thinks my tractor’s sexy

Another example of our kids growing up too fast. Austin is our oldest and is an expert in all things mechanical. This old Farmall tractor lay unused and broken down in the barn for 20 years. Austin decided awhile ago that he was going to fix it. It’s been running for over a year now. Austin drove the tractor to school on Friday for Take Your Tractor to School Day. He even talked about picking up his girlfriend on the way. Amy was surprised that she would want the ride. He replied with a grin, “What? She thinks my tractor’s sexy.”

Our baby is growing up too fast

Ryan, our youngest, graduated from preschool this week. I can’t believe how fast time flies. He’s very excited that he’ll be at the same school as his big sis next year.

Wedding: Katrina and Justin

Katrina and Justin were married Saturday, May 3rd at Glasford United Methodist Church, with their wedding reception at St. Sharbel’s. The day was beautiful, a little cool and windy, but all in all a great day. As always, Josh and I had a great time photographing the day and meeting all of the family and friends!
