We moved out of our studio today

That’s right.  You may or may not have seen our previous blog posts and signs at the studio that suggested that this was happening soon.  Today we officially closed the doors of our Peoria Heights location.  We had a great three years at that space, but it was time to move on.  Our main reason was to find something closer to home.  We are currently negotiating the terms of another space in the Germantown Hills area.  We’ll continue to keep you posted as our plans develop.  Our office phone number and email address will remain the same, so no need to update your contact information.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions.  Thank you for your patronage!

Wedding: Katie & Casey

A big thanks to my friend Stephen Seward of St. Louis for photographing Katie’s and Casey’s  wedding with me.  Some of you may remember that I had the pleasure of shooting with Stephen in Mexico last year.  Though Galesburg is a bit less exotic than Mexico, I think we came came away with some awesome imagery.  But it’s easy when you’ve got a wedding party as fun as Katie’s and Casey’s.  The wedding ceremony took place at the First Presbyterian Church with reception following at the Lincoln Room at Knox College.  Here are a few of my favorites from our take.

Congratulations, Katie and Casey!  Best wishes to you both!

Engaged: Ann & Adam

I photographed Ann and Adam at Ann’s family farm in Forest City.  Ann & Adam are both farm kids, and I knew they’d enjoy a session on the farm.  I think we captured some great images together.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Engaged: Colleen & Jake

I had a great time Wednesday evening photographing Colleen’s and Jake’s engagement session in downtown Peoria.  Colleen and Jake will be getting married in Florida in September.  I’m a little bummed that I can’t come along, but I’m sure they’ll still have an awesome wedding without me.  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

Engaged: Kimberly & Mitch

I had a great time on Sunday afternoon photographing Kimberly’s and Mitch’s engagement session at Weaver Ridge Golf Club.  They will also be having their wedding reception there in March, but we’re counting on things being far less green then.  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

Route 66 update

We’re back!  We had an awesome time traveling cross country with our friends Erin and Andy.  We were amazed by all that our country has to offer on just one stretch of highway.  I ambitiously suggested in my previous post that I might blog as we traveled.  Well, there was too much to see and do, so that did not happen as I had planned.  I promise to share some photographs with you on the blog very soon.  Our friend Erin has a blog and she’ll also be sharing photographs from the trip.  There’s not much there yet, but she’ll have lots more once she gets all her film scanned.  Check it out here.
