Ian

Bringing an entourage of friends to your senior session seems to be getting pretty popular.  And I think it’s great.  I always have a lot of fun incorporating some group pictures into our senior sessions.  Ian brought some friends, and camera presence and personality to spare.  This guy’s definitely comfortable in front of a camera.  This session was easy.  Here are a few favorites.

Engaged: Kristen + Nick

Kristen and Nick have had bad luck with the weather.  We tried to shoot their session last week and it rained.  Yesterday it was cold and windy.  But they were troopers and braved the conditions, and we captured some great imagery.  I told them this just meant that they’d have perfect wedding weather.  For this session, we went for a fusion of urban grunge and gorgeous Fall color.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Wedding: Megan + Josh

From time to time, I’m asked by our clients, “what happens if you’re sick?”  Well, here’s the answer.  The show must go on!  I’m now affectionately referring to Megan’s and Josh’s wedding as “my flu wedding”.  But I put on a happy face anyway, and photographed some great images for them with the help of my partner in crime, Amy.  Here are a few of our favorites.

A little dance floor craziness.

Is David Blaine a guest at this wedding?  Nothing like a little levitation.

Congrats, Megan and Josh!  Best wishes to you both!

Emily

This is Emily.  Actress.  Singer.  Musician.  She’s quite talented.  Amy and I have known her since she was just a young girl, and she’s always amazed us.  So, of course I was flattered that she chose me to photograph her senior pictures.  Here are a few of my favorites.

The Harmans

Another beautiful Fall day,  and the Harmans are back for a family session.  They’ve been clients of ours for the last two years, and we always enjoy working with them.  Here are a few favorites.

Engaged: Shelly + Jason

It’s been gorgeous lately for outdoor photography, and Shelly’s and Jason’s engagement session was no exception.  We found some beautiful Fall color in Bradley Park, and then headed over to the Bradley U Campus, their alma mater and where they met, and showed a little school spirit.  Here are a few of my favorites from the session.

Garyn

I have to say this ranks as one of my most fun senior sessions of all time.  I photographed Garyn’s senior portraits last week, and she brought along her entourage.  We had a blast running around the park and downtown Peoria.  Here are a few of my favs including a couple with the entourage.

Wedding: Sarah + Jeff

Ceremony and Reception – Champaign Country Club

Amy and I had a great time at this October 4th wedding.  We had awesome weather, and the venue was decorated beautifully.  I went a little overboard choosing favorites.  This selection doesn’t even begin to cover it.

First married high five.

Great band – The Pete Fleming Orchestra

I just love this picture.  So much happening here.

Ending on a tired note.

Congrats, Sarah and Jeff!  We wish you the best.

The Chaffer Family

Amy and I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel’s and Todd’s wedding a few years ago.  Last year they came back to us for portraits of their brand new twin boys.  Here they are again nearly a year later for their boys’ one year pictures.  I managed to squeeze Rachel and Todd into a few as well.  For this session, we revisited the farm where I photographed Rachel’s and Todd’s engagement portraits, and also where Todd grew up.  The twins had a blast running around their grandparents’ place.  Here are just a few of my favorites.

Lauren

Lauren tagged along on a senior session I photographed last year, and now she’s back for her own session.  We started with a little urban flavor and then headed over to Detweiller Park, one of her favorite places to hang out.  Here are a few of my favorites.
