Engaged: Sara + Matt

This is my first engagement session that took place on two different days.  The first half was captured while dodging rain showers, and then we came back to the overlook point on a later day to capture some images with sunshine and no rain.  I might add that Matt proposed to Sara from this same bluff overlooking the city.  I think we ended up with some great stuff.   Check out some favorites below.  Matt and Sara will be marrying next month.

Wedding: Amanda + Josh

Wedding – St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Metamora

Reception – Countryside Banquet Facility of Washington

We’ve never photographed the same church twice in one week before, but Amanda and Josh married at St. Mary’s 5 days after our last wedding there.  It was a beautiful ceremony with portraits following in Washington Park, and a fun-filled reception at Countryside in Washington.  Amy and I had a blast, not only because Amanda and Josh know how to have fun at a wedding, but because of all the familiar faces from our community that were present.  Anyway, here are some of our favorite images from the day.

Congrats, Amanda and Josh!  We wish you the best!

Engaged: Allison + Andy

I had a great time trapsing through the woods and along the riverfront with Allison and Andy on their engagement session.  Looking forward to their wedding in November.

Wedding: Julia + Nathan

Wedding – St Mary’s Catholic Church of Metamora

Reception – Embassy Suites of East Peoria

Julia and Nathan were married on a Monday, which actually was not our first weekday wedding.  We’ve also photographed a Wednesday and a Thursday wedding, and Amy and I were married on a Wednesday.  Julia and Nathan also win the prize for the longest wedding mass I’ve ever photographed (1 hour 45 min), but I actually didn’t mind because the music was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard at a wedding.  I had a great time capturing their wedding day.  Here are some of my favorite images:

Congratulations, Julia and Nathan!  Best wishes for your future together!
