It is not too late for senior pictures! Melissa finally found a break in her busy school, sports, and work schedule to get her senior portraits photographed. And luck and Mother Nature were with us. We had beautiful weather.
While on the session, Melissa’s mom mentioned some portraits of her two older children that were photographed in a studio in front of a solid black background. She planned to have Melissa photographed again at a later date to create a portrait to match the other two. I suggested we try to simulate that look outdoors, and possibly save her some money on another session. This photograph was taken in front of a construction barrier downtown at about 2:00 pm on a sunny day. I think we nailed it.
The first engagement session of the season! I’ve known Courtney and Tyson since Courtney’s sister Camille married Andy back in 2005. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of catching up with them at Andy’s brother Joel’s wedding, and also at the wedding of their friends, Jason and Amber. And now it’s finally their turn. They’ll be marrying in August on the field at Busch Stadium. How cool is that?! I’m so looking forward to their wedding.
